Factory Tours

Guided factory tours depart every 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the season. The last factory tour of the day leaves 45 minutes before closing, but please allow 90 minutes to fully enjoy your museum experience. Factory tours last approximately 30 minutes. Guests will see bats being made on every tour, every day. Allow 2 hours to enjoy the entire museum and factory experience. Everyone receives a miniature souvenir bat at the end of the tour! Personalized bats can be ordered when you arrive for pick-up after your tour, or they can be shipped.

Accessibility

The museum and factory are handicap accessible, with open-captioning and listening devices available in our theater. The theater does include some steps, but a handicap accessible door allows this area to be bypassed. There is some dust and noise in the factory.

We are located on the corner of 8th and Main in downtown Louisville. Just look for The Big Bat! A parking garage operated by the city is directly behind our building and some street parking is available. Planning on staying the night in Louisville? Heading West on I-64: Exit on 3rd Street. Right on River Road at the bottom of the ramp. Left on 6th Street. Right on Main Street. Left on 8th Street. Parking garage on the right.

From I-71 and I-65: Merge onto I-64 West and follow directions above heading West on I-64.
