Baseball fans in Louisville are in for a treat as Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory proudly presents a temporary exhibit dedicated to the Savannah Bananas, coinciding with their series against the Party Animals from August 1-3.
To celebrate this special occasion, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is proud to announce a temporary Savannah Bananas exhibit, showcasing an array of memorabilia from both teams. Guests will have the chance to see gloves, knee guards and jerseys from both teams. Fans of the Bananas can feel the excitement of the game in the museum’s Hold a Piece of History exhibit, which will include a game-used bat swung by Dr Meadows.
In addition to the exhibit, the museum store will offer a selection of limited-edition t-shirts made specifically to commemorate the Louisville series. The shirts are now available in the Museum Store and will be available for purchase prior to the day the series kicks off.
"We are thrilled to host the Savannah Bananas exhibit and welcome their fans to the museum," said Deana Lockman, Executive Director. "We can't wait to see the energy and excitement their fans will bring to the museum.”
The museum is also swinging for the fences and treating Banana fans coming into town with extended hours August 2nd and 3rd. The museum will be open until 6 PM on those days.
