Following the devastating tornadoes in Kentucky, we are joining the relief efforts by donating $1 from every admission ticket sold between Jan. 1-Jan. 31 to United Way Kentucky. We are proud of our community for pitching in during this tough time.

Player Awards

These three significant awards honor the best of the best in different ways for different achievements.

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory presents its Living Legend Award every year with a festive celebration. Honorees have included Ken Griffey Jr, Cal Ripken Jr, and Hank Aaron, who is shown here flashing his Living Legend ring bling.

Louisville Slugger’s Silver Bat Award has gone to the top hitter in each league since 1949. Jackie Robinson was one of the inaugural winners.


And the Silver Slugger Team Award started in 1980 as a way to recognize the top hitters at each field position.

Coinciding with the 100th anniversary of Jim Thorpe signing a contract with Hillerich & Bradsby Co., this exhibit explores the hardships of Thorpe's life, including how baseball was used to unfairly strip him of two gold medals he earned in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics.
