Bat Vault Tours

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of our hallowed Bat Vault. From Ruth to Williams to Aaron, get your hands on the bat models created by the game’s greatest players. 

Bat Vault tours are given daily. Please speak with Ticket Sales during your visit about Bat Vault tour availability.

 

“The First Bat” Hand Turning Demonstration
Gather in our museum gallery to hear the story of how we made the first Louisville Slugger.

In the Main Museum at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM,
2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM

“Behind the Brand” Burn Branding Demonstration

Watch the flames rise and the smoke billow as we demonstrate how the iconic Louisville Slugger branding has been burned into bats for more than a century.

In the Main Museum at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM,
3:30 PM, and 4:30 PM

 Mini Bat & Nub Decorating
Decorate one of our mini bats & nubs to create a fun souvenir to take home. This arts & crafts activity is perfect for sluggers of all ages!

Hold a Piece of History
Don a pair of exhibit gloves and grab hold of a game-used bat belonging to some of the greatest superstars - past and present. All 30 MLB teams represented!

Project H&B ID: putting names with the faces of Hillerich & Bradsby Co.

Their names are unknown for now, but they helped build a worldwide icon and a new mission is underway to learn who they are. From September 27th through November 1st, this photo exhibit of former factory workers will be on display. This special exhibit features 25 photographs dating back to the 1930s that all feature H&B workers whose names have been lost through the years.
