Guests traveling Interstate 65 Southbound, please be aware of construction on the Kennedy Bridge that connects Indiana and Kentucky the weekend of June 1-2, 2013. Delays affecting your travel to Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory are expected.

If you are visiting us from the north, please consider exiting I-65 South at Exit 6B in Indiana and taking Interstate 265 West to Interstate 64 East. Take I-64 East to the Roy Wilkins Blvd exit. Turn left onto Market St. Turn left onto 8th St. Parking Garage is on your left.

Hours and Bat Production During Tours:

Guided factory tours begin at 9:00 am, and the last factory tour of the day departs one hour before closing. Factory tours last approximately 30 minutes. Guests now have the opportunity to see bats being made seven days a week. Bat making demonstrations will take place in the factory when full production is not scheduled. Visitors normally allow 2 hours for the entire museum and factory experience. Everyone receives a miniature souvenir bat at the end of the tour!

Museum & Factory Tours

We recommend you arrive 2 hours before we close to enjoy the full experience. The last tour of the day begins an hour before we close.

Put Your Own Name on a Bat

Personalized Bats can be ordered when you arrive, and picked up before you leave in our Museum Store.

Accessibility

The museum and factory are handicap accessible, with open-captioning and listening devices available in our theater. The regular tour does include some steps, but a handicap accessible door allows this area to be bypassed. There is some dust and loud noise in the factory.

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is located on the corner of 8th and Main in the heart of downtown Louisville. You can’t miss us—just look for the World’s Biggest Bat! A parking garage operated by the city is conveniently located directly behind our building and some street parking is available.
